These findings indicate that inositol not only enhances lipid production in microalgae but also plays a role in the response mechanisms of microalgae under conditions of 15 percent CO2 and methanol exposure. The experimental design included three groups: the CP-CK group served as the control, the CP-MT group represented the methanol-treated experimental group, and the CP-Ins group was the inositol-treated experimental group. The samples consisted of microalgal cell pellets.
