single-cell RNA sequence for adult Japanese medaka (oryzias latipes) testis

This project comprises four sets of single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) data obtained from the testes of adult Japanese medaka (Oryzias latipes). It includes wild-type (Hd-rR) and p53-deficient fish, each featuring one dataset exposed to low-dose (500mGy gamma-ray) irradiation and one control dataset. These datasets provide insights into gene expression profiles of spermatogonia, spermatocytes, spermatids, as well as testicular somatic cells like Leydig cells and Sertoli cells at the single-cell level under normal conditions and post-radiation exposure. The collection facilitates comparative analysis, revealing the sensitivity of male reproductive tissues to radiation and their recovery mechanisms, particularly in the absence of the tumor suppressor gene p53.
