This dataset provides test cases for model-based dose calculation algorithms (MBDCAs) used in ¹⁹²Ir high-dose-rate brachytherapy for gynecologic cancers. The dataset includes two computational models generated from cervical cancer patient cases, along with corresponding treatment plans, dose distribution data, and user guidelines. These datasets are designed to provide a calibration framework for treatment planning systems (TPS) that utilize MBDCAs, and serve as a benchmark for brachytherapy researchers using Monte Carlo (MC) methods. The dataset also includes reference dose distributions calculated in computational models employing different Monte Carlo simulation codes, as well as guidelines for calibrating MBDCAs in commercial treatment planning systems equipped with MBDCA functionality.
