To get an insight regarding nodule development of peanut, we conducted an RNA sequence experiment on different nodule developmental time points using A. hypogaea genome sequenced cultivar tifrunner (Bertioli et al., 2019). Following samples are used for RNA-sequencing; non-inoculated control (0 dpi), 6 days post-infection (6 dpi; containing small bumps), 10 dpi (actively cell division phase), 15 dpi (nitrogen fixation nodule), 21 dpi (vigorously nitrogen-fixing nodule) and 19 dpi + 2 days in presence of 6 (M) NH4NO3 (designated as 21 + NH4NO3). Only the root susceptible zone was harvested for 0 and 6 dpi samples and nodules were harvested for 10 dpi onwards samples.
