Binder-Adelier Collection

The Binder-Adelier Studio was founded by Clara Binder. She was very involved with the business and sales aspect of the business while her husband, Morris Enger handled much of the photography. The studio was active from 1940-1982, and was best known for photographs of children. The collection also includes some negatives of portrait subjects purchased from Phillip DeWoskin.
The Binder-Adelier Studio Collection contains glass and film negatives and some photographs. Most images are portraits of children, unidentified studio portraits and wedding photos. The early negatives in this collection came from DeWoskin; later ones cover the early years of Binder-Adelier.
