The List of Regulatory Documents on Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence

This dataset comprises a curated list of 98 regulatory documents on trustworthy artificial intelligence (AI), gathered up to July 2025, expanding prior analyses to include a diverse range of formal and informal institutional sources. It features 43 formal regulatory documents from public entities (e.g., USA, China, EU, and International Governmental Organizations) emphasizing policy and legal perspectives, and 55 informal regulatory documents from private/other entities (e.g., developers, researchers, advocacy groups, and corporations) focusing on ethical norms. This collection reflects the regulatory evolution of trustworthiness as an attribute of AI—from foundational principles to enforceable laws—and serves as a resource for comprehensive research on the conceptual state of the art of trustworthy AI.
