Soybean (Glycine max L.) is one of the world's critical crops with abundant dietary protein and edible oil. Unprecedented global warming results in increased frequency and intensity of extreme heat. The average global soybean yield was predicted to decline by 3.1% per degree-celsius rise. Our previous research found that the growth of soybean pistils was significantly hindered under high temperatures. However, its physiological mechanism remains unclear. Therefore, the transcriptome data of pistils on days 3 and 6 after high temperature were collected to explore the physiological mechanism of growth delay.
