KIAA1522 mediates resistance to cisplatin in lung adenocarcinoma cells

KIAA1522 is aberrantly over-expressed and predicts the outcome of platinum-base chemotherapy. Down-regulation of KIAA1522 sensitizes lung adenocarcinoma cells to cisplatin. To evaluate the molecular mechanisms underlying KIAA1522-induced cisplatin resistance. The RNA sequencing assays were performed in KIAA1522-depleted 889 cells. The kiaa1522 gene was depleted through Cas9/sgRNA-mediated gene knockout in 889 cells. The gene expression profiling in the control-sgRNA and kiaa1522-sgRNA expressed 889 cells were measured by RNA-seq and compared between groups. The differently expressed genes were then subjected to enrichment analyses to determine the KIAA1522-regulated signaling pathways.
