guangxi folk songs

This dataset contains supplementary materials for the study on Guangxi folk songs as shared cultural imagery in forging a sense of the Chinese national community. It includes the interview protocol and codebook used for qualitative analysis, anonymized excerpts from interviews with folk song inheritors, young residents, and cultural practitioners, a collection of representative folk song lyrics, summaries of key case studies, aggregated survey data, and a list of relevant local policies. These materials support the methodological transparency and findings of the research. All sensitive personal information has been removed to protect participant confidentiality. The dataset is shared under a CC BY 4.0 license.
