The dataset comprises summary statistics from the meta-GWAS of 19 studies on tinnitus. The dataset accompanies the following paper: "Integrating GWAS meta-analysis with human brain cell mapping implicates the amygdala and the midbrain in the pathogenesis of tinnitus" (submitted to Am J Hum Genet) Please cite the paper if using this dataset. Phenotype definition was based on self-administered questionnaires regarding tinnitus and ICD-9 & -10 diagnoses of tinnitus. Summary statistics from 19 independent cohorts were analyzed (see manuscript for details) comprizing 888,214 individuals of European descent, including 75,250 tinnitus cases and 812,964 controls. The meta-analysis included 11,950,440 imputed SNPs. Individual GWASs have been QC'd and harmonyzed using EasyQC followed by fixed-effects IVW meta-analysis using GWAMA.
