People sentenced to imprisonment in Russia 2022, by length

In 2022, more than 38 thousand people were sentenced to spend up to one year in prison in Russia, while approximately 36 thousand people had to spend between one and two years. Furthermore, 59 persons out of 167 thousand people received life imprisonment in that year.
