CFD Data from STAR-CCM+

This is the dataset from Siemens STAR-CCM+, as a csv file, for both the JH- and SI- configurations at different angles of attack and aileron deflection angles. The data were used for experimental validation and work estimation compared between the whiffling-inspired gapped wing and a conventional aileron. <br> Two different subsets of this dataset are currently in use for a journal publication in work, and were presented in a paper at the 2022 ASME SMASIS conference in Dearborn, MI, titled "Computational validation that whiffling-inspired gaps require less work for roll control than conventional ailerons at high rolling moment coefficients" by Sigrest, Wu, and Inman.
