In 2023, Azerbaijan exported over 7.92 million metric tons of natural gas to neighboring country Turkey. This was followed by Italy, where exports amounted to 7.82 million metric tons. The lowest export volume was recorded for Iran, at nearly 0.07 million metric tons.
