A dataset of carbon and water fluxes of the grassland ecosystem at Ansai Station in 2020

This dataset is the observation data of carbon and water flux in the Ansai grassland ecosystem in 2020. The data collection site is located at the Duntan experimental site of the National Field Science Observation and Research Station (Ansai Station) in Ansai, Shaanxi Province. The experimental site is located in the transitional forest grassland area from warm temperate deciduous broad-leaved forest to grassland, representing a typical temperate shrub grassland ecosystem on the Loess Plateau. A standardized dataset of ecosystem carbon and water fluxes and key meteorological elements has been developed based on the ChinaFLUX data processing system. The dataset consists of eight Excel files, divided into two categories: LITE, which includes major fluxes and meteorological variables, and ALL, which adds data quality and interpolation indicators on top of LITE. Each category has four data files, including data files at four scales: half-hour (HH), day (DD), month (MM), and year (YY). This dataset is of great significance for accurately evaluating the status and role of carbon and water fluxes in temperate grassland ecosystems on the Loess Plateau in regional and global carbon and water cycles.
