This dataset covers the type of oath of allegiance to the Crown taken by UK MPs following the 2024 general election. It includes whether MPs took an oath or made a solemn affirmation, the type of text they used (where relevant), and the implied religion from this act. It also includes a Hansard member identification number, political party, and whether they were a new or returning MP.
