Distribution of calbindin-positive neurons in the normal adult mouse brain (v3)

High-resolution bright-field microscopy images of coronal brain sections showing calbindin-positive neurons across the normal adult mouse brain. The dataset consists of image series covering the entire brain from eight C57Bl6/J mice. For each brain, every sixth section was processed by diaminobenzidine (DAB) immunohistochemistry using a monoclonal calbindin (RRID:AB_10000347) antibody. The data can be used to investigate the distribution of calbindin positive neurons in the mouse brain, and may be compared to our published data [(Bjerke et al., 2026)](https://doi.org/10.25493/ND61-ZCJ) from developing brains acquired using the same techniques.
