The data represents yearly, non-irrigation treated or "dryland", averages and sums of Texas-county data concerning upland cotton (containing production, acres plotted, and acres harvested) and drought data for the subsequent counties used.
The key unique factor in this dataset is the "Aquifer Group" column, which specifies whether the counties for which the data was used was in the top or bottom 20% of counties above groundwater areas.
Useful for examining groundwater impacts on crop yields.
