Defining the cardiac fibroblast secretome

Cardiac fibroblasts (CF) are key players in cardiac remodeling, but their intercellular communication is only incompletely understood. Here we analyzed the secretome of healthy cardiac fibroblasts (cCF) and cardiac fibroblasts isolated from post-myocardial infarction (postMI) hearts) using metabolic labeling combined with click chemistry.
