Analyzing hot topics of electronic word-of-mouth through latent semantic text analysis

· Individuals influence others’ decision-making process by contributing to eWOM. · eWOM is a communication channel where people share their opinions about a service, product, etc, via the Internet through different devices. · This study aims to explore the eWOM research area to find out hot discussed topics. · Using an improved latent semantic text analysis provided this study with a debatable and comprehensive result which is a first in its kind. · Proposing a guideline for scholars by using Scopus Citescore and text mining results to submit their research to an appropriate journal based on the scope and theme of their study in eWOM.
