资源简介:
Teacher victimization (TV), involving aggressive behaviors directed at educators from students, is a growing concern linked to negative outcomes such as burnout and job dissatisfaction. While the Multidimensional Teacher Victimization Scale (MTVS) has been validated in China, there is a need to replicate and validate the scale in different cultural contexts. The study aims to validate the MTVS in a U.S. context and examine the relationship between teacher victimization and burnout. The research will address the following questions: (1) Is the MTVS best supported by a six-factor second-order model factor structure in a U.S. sample? (2) How do dimensions of victimization correlate with teacher burnout indicators and psychological distress? K-12 classroom teachers will be recruited. Data will be collected via an online survey. Confirmatory factor analysis will be conducted to validate the scales, with correlations tested between TV and burnout indicators, as well as between TV and psychological distress. unknown other
