I have reconstructed some cultural contributions that Donato Valli, my university professor and mentor of my graduation thesis, produced and discussed in the «Laboratorio di poesia (t/n poetry workshop)» (as well as in annual professional development courses he held for teachers) and published in «l'incantiere», poetry review, in the years from 1986 to 2002. His critical contributions about the poets he dealt with each time were accurate, well thought-out, rich in critical inputs (also of a theoretical and methodological nature) and characterized both by the scholar's scientific rigour and by the man's human, passionate sensibility.
