Spare Parts Time Series Indian Dataset

This dataset comprises 28,459 records of two-wheeler automobile spare parts transactions from Karnataka-based vendors, collected primarily from IndiaMART and other e-commerce platforms. Each record contains five essential fields: job card date (temporal dimension), invoice line text (specific part identifier), material composition (aluminum, steel, plastic, or rubber), supplier name, and customer review text. The data captures real-world demand patterns across multiple spare part categories including fuel tanks, coolant pipes, brake discs, and engine components from May 2023 onward.Customer sentiment is represented through 1,500+ textual reviews, expressing varying levels of satisfaction regarding product quality, durability, delivery timeliness, and value for money. Material sustainability metrics are included to support environmental impact analysis, featuring recyclability potential scores, estimated carbon footprint, and average lifespan for each component type.The dataset exhibits distinct seasonal demand patterns and vendor-specific performance variations, making it suitable for time series forecasting, sentiment analysis, inventory optimization, and sustainability research in the automotive supply chain domain. Data preprocessing includes temporal aggregation into weekly time series, sentiment classification using VADER, and calculation of supplier reputation scores, enabling both academic research and practical applications in demand forecasting and circular economy practices.
