Transfer of drug resistance via sEVs carrying PKM2 from drug-resistant to chemosensitive cells. Thephosphorylated variant of PKM2 at tyrosine 105 (pY105-PKM2), a putative driver of tumoral stemness, might contribute to the transmission of stemness traits through sEVs. To elucidate the mechanisms underpinning these observations, transcriptomic sequencing was performed on A549 cells after treatment with sEVs originating from A549-PKM2WT and A549 PKM2Y105F.
