Soil resilience and microbial network reorganization under nickel cobalt manganese exposure

This project investigates soil microbial responses to mixed nickel cobalt manganese NCM exposure using controlled incubation experiments. Agricultural soils with contrasting physicochemical properties were collected from Anhui Province, China, and treated with increasing concentrations of NCM derived from lithium ion battery cathode materials. Changes in soil physicochemical properties and enzyme activities were assessed, and high throughput amplicon sequencing of fungal internal transcribed spacer ITS regions was performed to characterize fungal community composition and co occurrence network structure. Complementary bacterial 16S rRNA gene sequencing data generated from the same soil samples will be submitted separately under this BioProject.
