Prompt-as-Instrument: Experimental Dataset for Text-to-Music Prompt Gesture Analysis

This dataset accompanies the paper: "The Prompt Is the Instrument: Toward an Organology of Text-to-Music Systems" The dataset contains the full experimental outputs and analysis tables used in the study. Contents: • 750 audio outputs generated with MusicGen (facebook/musicgen-small)• Prompt sample and prompt-gesture variants• Extracted audio features• Statistical analysis tables• Full experiment manifests and parameter snapshots Audio files are provided as a compressed archive of FLAC files (≈10 s each, 32 kHz). The repository containing the full reproducibility pipeline is available on Codeberg. The dataset enables exact verification of the empirical analysis reported in the paper.
