Southern Surveyor Voyage SS2010_V09 HPLC Pigment and Ocean Colour Data

This dataset contains HPLC Pigment and Ocean Colour data collected on Southern Surveyor voyage SS2010_v09.The voyage took place in the East Australian Current in the NSW region from the 15th October to the 31st of October. The data can be used for Ocean Colour sensor validation. Parameters measured are the concentration of chlorophyll and    carotenoid pigments and the absorption coefficient for dissolved (CDOM) particulate (ap) and detrital or non-algal (ad) components of the water column. 63 stations were sampled. The data was used primarily to validate ocean colour sensors MERIS, MODIS and SeaWIFS. CLW deployed instruments RAMSES, AC-9 and Hydroscat.
