The rapid development of digital technologies and their active integration into education have significantly changed the professional requirements for modern teachers, especially future informatics teachers. In this context, the development of digital competence has become one of the key priorities of teacher education. The purpose of this study was to improve the model for developing digital competence in future informatics teachers on the basis of an integrated and systematic approach. The research used methods of scientific literature analysis, comparative analysis, pedagogical modeling, observation, and generalization. The findings showed that the improved model should include five interrelated components: motivational, cognitive, operational, reflective, and evaluative. The study also identified the main pedagogical conditions necessary for effective implementation of the model, including interdisciplinary integration, practice-oriented learning, interactive methods, and the creation of a digital educational environment. The proposed model provides a more complete framework for preparing future informatics teachers for professional activity in the context of digital transformation in education. The results of the study may be used in higher education institutions to improve curricula, teaching methods, and systems for assessing digital competence.
