Sub-decadal variability in the South Asian monsoon during the last three millennia with a wettest phase during the Roman Warm Period

Here we present a well-dated multi-proxy record of summer monsoon variability from the Rewalsar Lake, Northwest (NW) Himalaya, India based on grain size and isotope study indicating an intense monsoon phase during the Roman Warm Period (RWP) that enhanced economic growth in South Asia.
