CucurLitBase: A Curated Literature-Derived Gene-Trait Association Dataset for Cucurbit Crops

CucurLitBase is a curated literature-derived gene-trait association dataset for cucurbit crops. This release contains curated association tables, species-level statistics, Breeding-Focused Trait ontology metadata, API schema documentation, supplementary search strategy, a 2000-sentence expert-adjudicated annotation quality-control benchmark with evaluation metrics, and supporting reproducibility materials. The deposited release covers source literature from 1985-01-01 to 2026-06-26. PubMed and PMC were searched as source databases, and deposited association tables retain PMID as the publication identifier.
