资源简介:
CD1 molecules present lipid antigens to T cells and thereby shape adaptive immunity. This thesis considers CD1c, which is a subset of CD1 molecules that presents many self-lipids. Using structural, cellular and biochemical approaches, the study determines how CD1c displays self-lipids and how they are recognised by human T cells. The thesis findings have potential implications for the treatment of cancer and autoimmune diseases.
