Le "note" di De Giorgi alla Relazione di Galanti: una rarità bibliografica

The most important and most famous work of Giuseppe Maria Galanti (1743-1806), one of the leaders of Neapolitan Enlightenment, is Descrizione storica e geografica delle Sicilie (1786), result of many years of research: studies by D.Demarco, F.Assante and G.Galasso confirm this. In 1895 L. Sylos summoned some scholars to analyze and evaluate the text of unpublished report Relazione al Re..., a manuscript containing the accurate description of "Terra di Bari": they were Cosimo De Giorgi and Pietro Mossa. De Giorgi was associated as an expert according to the ancient "motto" chosen by him visa magis quam audita. It is a useful exemple to increase knowledge of "De Giorgi's Bibliography", not based on the quantity of the items, but on the study of some of the main ones.
