The changes in microbial communities have a significant impact on ulcerative colitis. By establishing a DSS induced colitis mouse model, the regulatory effect of theabrownin on intestinal microbiota in mice was studied.The experimental results showed that theabrownin can effectively increase the beneficial bacteria (Akkermansia, Muribaculaceae, and Eubacterium_coprostanoligenes_group) in the intestine of DSS-induced colitis mice and inhibit pathogenic bacteria (Clostridia_UCG-014) . Especially in improving the relative abundance of Akkermansia in the intestine, the effect is significant.
