Repository data for the paper "Repetition and Innovation in Dramatic Texts", published in the journal JCLS by Botond Szemes and Mihály Nagy. Folder "info-drama-main" contains the files from the Github repository of the research with codes and examples - for details see Readme: https://github.com/SzemesBotond/info-drama Many thanks for Benjamin Schmidt and Malte Vogel in reviewing the R codes under the Community Code Review project (https://dhcodereview.github.io/) Folder "input-xml" contains all the Shakespeare files provided by DraCor (www.dracor.org/shake; https://github.com/dracor-org/shakedracor) at the time: 11-12-2023. This corpus comprises 37 Shakespeare plays. The source of the texts is the Folger Shakespeare Library.  See for DraCor: Fischer, Frank, et al. (2019). Programmable Corpora: Introducing DraCor, an Infrastructure for the Research on European Drama. In Proceedings of DH2019: "Complexities", Utrecht University, doi:10.5281/zenodo.4284002. "julius-example.csv" contains all the Maximum Similarity Scores for sentences in Shakespeare's Julius Caesar 1.2.30-187 (see Appendix in the paper)
