Raw and supporting data for: Response and Cable Tension Characteristics of Variable-Length Towed Marine Systems
收藏资源简介:
This record contains the source data supporting the manuscript entitled “Response and Cable Tension Characteristics of Variable-Length Towed Marine Systems”. Files included: All_Figure_Operating_Conditions.xlsx: summary of operating conditions for all figures. Figure 5.csv: validation data comparing present simulation results with previously published experimental/literature data. Figure 6.csv: validation data comparing present simulation results with full-scale sea-trial data. Figure10.csv: raw simulation data for temporal cable-end tension under different deployment speeds. Figure11.csv: raw simulation data for maximum tension versus deployment speed. Figure A1.csv: raw simulation data for sensitivity to mother ship speed. Figure A2.csv: raw simulation data for sensitivity to cable linear density. Figure A3.csv: raw simulation data for sensitivity to current angle. Figures 5 and 6 are validation cases. Figure 5 compares the present simulation with previously published experimental/literature data, while Figure 6 compares the present simulation with full-scale sea-trial data. All simulation conditions are summarized in All_Figure_Operating_Conditions.xlsx. These files are provided to support transparency and reproducibility of the results reported in the manuscript.
