REDUCTION OF LEXICAL RICHNESS IN THE UZBEK LANGUAGE AND ITS ENRICHMENT BASED ON OLD TURKIC AND ARCHAIC WORDS:

This article discusses the prevalence of words that have entered the modern Uzbek language from Russian, as well as the issue of using their Uzbek synonyms. The main purpose of the article is to increase the richness of the language, expand the synonymic layer, and substantiate the importance of lexical units found in the works of Old Turkic language sources, as well as in the writings of Yusuf Khos Khojib, Alisher Navoi, and Mahmud Kashgari in the development of the Uzbek language. The results show that introducing archaic words directly into widespread usage is not effective; instead, explaining them by linguists, adapting them to the modern language, and gradually implementing them step by step is more beneficial for language development.
