POLLEN, MACROFLORAL, AND PROTEIN RESIDUE ANALYSES AT SITE 42GR2069, UTAH

Pollen, starch, macrofloral, and/or protein residue analyses were conducted on samples representing three pit structures, features within the pit structures, and extramural features at site 42Gr2069 in southeast Utah. Radiocarbon ages range from 1820 ± 40 to 1980 ± 50 BP. Pollen, starch, and macrofloral analyses were targeted towards obtaining subsistence information for use of the vegetal portion of the resource base from several of the structures and features. Protein residue analysis was undertaken to identify evidence of animals that might have been processed.针对美国犹他州东南部42Gr2069遗址的3处坑状遗迹、坑内附属遗迹及坑外相关遗迹的出土样品，本研究开展了孢粉、淀粉粒、大植物遗存与蛋白质残留物分析。该遗址的碳十四测年结果年代范围为1820 ± 40至1980 ± 50 BP。其中，孢粉、淀粉粒及大植物遗存分析旨在获取相关遗迹所反映的生计信息，以揭示该遗址资源基底中的植物利用情况；蛋白质残留物分析则用于识别可能经加工处理的动物遗存相关证据。
