The invention relates to a saw blade (1) having a chamfered tooth (10) having two effective cutting-edge segments (7) arranged in the region of the chamfer (15)， between which cutting-edge segments an ineffective cutting-edge segment (8) of the tooth (10) is formed. Thus， five cutting-channel segments (18) can be formed by means of only two geometrically different teeth (10).
