Analytical dataset on the temperature sensitivity of microbial carbon and nitrogen use efficiencies in forest soils

This analytical dataset supports a study investigating the temperature sensitivity of microbial carbon use efficiency (CUE) and nitrogen use efficiency (NUE) across 11 forest sites distributed along a ~4000 km north-south transect in eastern China. Temperature sensitivities, expressed as Q10 values, were calculated for CUE and NUE across two temperature intervals (12-20 °C and 20-28 °C), and multiple regression and model averaging were applied to identify the key drivers shaping their coupled variation. The dataset includes the processed data used in the statistical analyses and the corresponding R code, enabling reproducibility of the results.
