Mycobacterium tuberculosis Raw sequence reads

To further investigate tuberculosis (TB) transmission in Beijing, China, we performed whole-genome sequencing on clinical Mycobacterium tuberculosis isolates collected in Changping District, Beijing, between 2013 and 2023 to identify clustered strains. We then integrated these genomic data with epidemiological information and patient interview records to determine the risk factors associated with recent transmission events, as well as those driving the emergence and persistence of large, long-term transmission clusters.
