Gray mold disease causes significant damage to plants. We have obtained two new strains of Serratia rubidaea (SY163 and SY183) from tomatoes that inhibit the growth of Botrytis cinerea, the causal agent of gray mold disease. Our goal is to reveal the complete genome sequence of S. rubidaea SY163 and SY183 using PacBio platform.
