NRS-20199 | Ledger (Reserves Improvement Fund) [Hume Pastures Protection Board]

This series is compirsed of a single financial ledger which recorded information for the Reserves Improvement Fund at the Hume Pastures Protection Board (in the Holbrook area). Each entry in the ledger records the date and particulars of the transaction, the cash book folio number, the monetry amount and total. The Pastures Protection Act 1934, Section 16, states that, "Every board shall, in January in each year, cause an account in the prescribed form to be prepared of its receipts and expenditure for the year preceding under distinct heads, with a statement of the balance. Such account shall be duly audited and certified. A copy of such account shall be published not later than the month of March next following in one or more newspapers circulating in the district. Copies of such account shall also be furnished to the Minister and the Auditor-General."
