Blockchain and Digital Assets in Emerging Markets: De-identified Survey Dataset
收藏资源简介:
De-identified dataset from a cross-sectional survey of 114 fintech leaders and entrepreneurs across 60 emerging-market countries, examining practitioner perceptions of blockchain and digital-asset adoption, financial innovation, and fintech entrepreneurship. Data were collected October–December 2024. The instrument comprises four demographic/screening items, two 0–10 scales (familiarity and belief in transformative potential), and 21 Likert items (1–5) across seven thematic blocks covering adoption drivers, transparency and efficiency, integration obstacles, fintech entrepreneurship, DeFi, policy and regulation, and consumer protection. Respondent names and submission timestamps have been removed and each respondent assigned an anonymous identifier (R001–R114); no personally identifiable information is included, and raw individual response forms are not shared, to protect respondent privacy. The package contains the de-identified data (CSV), a data dictionary, and a README. This dataset supports the findings of the associated article.
