Processed ship-based Multibeam Sonar Data acquired near the Tonga Trench during the Maurice Ewing expedition EW9512 (1995)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based Atlas Hydrosweep DS Multibeam Sonar system during Maurice Ewing expedition EW9512 conducted in 1995 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Martin Sinha). These data files are of MBSystem format and include Swath Bathymetry data and were processed at sea using the open source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 1. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Controlled source electromagnetic and seismic investigation of the Valu Fa Ridge, Lau Basin, SW Pacific, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): Ship_Exchange.
