Transcriptome analysis of silk glands in fifth-instar silkworm larvae reared on different diets. Bombyx mori

This study aimed to elucidate the transcriptome of the middle and posterior silk glands of different silkworm strains in fifth-instar day 5 larvae reared on different diets. We performed RNA-seq of the middle and posterior silk glands of silkworm larvae of three silkworm strains, Daizo, Nichi01, and J137×C146, reared on mulberry leaves or an artificial diet.
