1. This dataset comprises goaf boundary detection data from Pingxing Company, including research reports, achievement maps, passive-source velocity inversion results, and field observation data volumes. A demonstration project further validated the effectiveness and feasibility of theoretical methods, instrument equipment, mutual constraint processing technology, and comparative interpretation technology for goaf detection at Pingxing Company. The method combining active-source and passive-source seismology was employed to mutually constrain goaf interpretation. The theoretical approaches have been validated via forward modeling and field practice. Advanced and stable imported Smarsolo nodal instruments were utilized for data collection. Field surveys were conducted strictly in accordance with relevant national standards and industry specifications. The instrument equipment exhibits excellent consistency and stability, with checkpoint errors meeting the specification requirements. Field-collected data were rigorously graded per the relevant specifications, yielding excellent data quality. The data processing and geological interpretation results conform to geological-geophysical laws, and the boundaries of goafs within the work area were delineated, which were verified by subsequent engineering works, with the accuracy meeting the required standards. The demonstration project successfully passed the acceptance inspection by the expert group and Huayang New Material Technology Group. The total data volume is 844 MB. 2. The data consist of the ahead goaf boundary obtained by applying the down-hole transient advanced detection method for the potential goaf in the South Air Return Lane of Pingxing Company. The data types include DWG and PDF; the estimated total data volume is 3.84 MB. The data include down-hole transient imaging processing results and supporting materials for application verification, and the original data were processed using the YCSZ down-hole transient processing system. The data collection location is the South Air Return Lane of Pingxing Company, and the data acquisition period was from July 16 to August 10, 2022.
