The attached data is the underlying data supporting “Number and quality of diagrams in scholarly publications is associated with number of citations”, presented at Diagrams 2021.The image data (.png) were manually extracted from Proceedings of the 55th Annual Meeting of the Association for Computational Linguistics (Volume 1: Long Papers) (2017). The citation metadata (acl2017export.csv) was extracted using Web of Science, with columns manually added (see readme). The code used can be found in citations_code.R .
