Photograph of a one-acre farm near El Monte, showing a large tree at left, August, 1927. A large tree shades most of the yard behind it from the left foreground. A wire fence extends in front of the farm just behind the tree. A driveway on the right leads to a garage where an automobile sits under a second tree. Many smaller trees and trimmed bushes decorate the front of the house at center. (Gay's Lion Farm?); The image was originally dated by August 1927. However, the car in the driveway appears to be an early 1940s Chevy model.
