The document contains English transcripts of all public statements issued by leaders of the Forces Nouvelles (FN) rebellion in the early stages of the civil war and peace process in Cote d'Ivoire, between January 2003 and December 2004. This includes press releases, news conferences, and radio and television interviews. Unless otherwise indicated by name and role, all quotes are attributed to Guillaume Soro, Chairman of the FN and Minister of Communication in the Government of National Reconciliation. Where transcripts are unavailable, a summary of the statement is provided in italics.
