Core overview images of IODP Hole 389-M0110B@en

Collection of core overview image reports from the above given hole of International Ocean Discovery Program (IODP) Expedition 389 (Hawaiian Drowned Reefs). The offshore phase of this expedition took place between 2023-08-31 and 2023-10-31 onboard multipurpose vessel MMA Valour sailing from and to Barbers Point Harbor, Hawai'i, USA, followed by the onshore phase from 2025-02-06 to 2025-02-26 at the Bremen Core Repository (BCR) hosted at MARUM – Center for Marine Environmental Sciences, University of Bremen. Core overview images reports for each core are automatically produced by the mDIS (mobile Drilling Information System) using the archive half line scan image of available sections once uploaded to the systems' file management. Line scan images were obtained during the onshore phase from the cleaned fresh cut surfaces directly after longitudinal splitting of core sections into work and archive halves. For production of core overview reports the curated cropped images of the respective archive halves were used. File naming follows standard IODP file naming convention: Exp-SiteHole-CoreCoretype. For example, a file 389-M0109A-06R.pdf identifies the report for core 6R (R indicating rotary coring method), from Hole M0109A from Expedition 389. […]本数据集为国际大洋发现计划（International Ocean Discovery Program, IODP）389航次（夏威夷淹没礁课题）指定钻孔的岩芯概览图像报告合集。本次航次的海上作业阶段于2023年8月31日至2023年10月31日开展，作业平台为多用途科考船“MMA Valour”，往返航点为美国夏威夷巴伯斯角港；后续陆上作业阶段于2025年2月6日至2025年2月26日，在不来梅大学海洋环境科学中心（MARUM – Center for Marine Environmental Sciences, University of Bremen）下属的不来梅核心库（Bremen Core Repository, BCR）开展。 单根岩芯的岩芯概览图像报告由移动钻井信息系统（mobile Drilling Information System, mDIS）自动生成：当对应岩芯段的归档半芯线扫图像上传至系统文件管理模块后，系统将基于该类图像自动生成对应报告。线扫图像于陆上作业阶段获取，具体流程为将岩芯段纵向劈分为工作半芯与归档半芯后，直接对清洁后的新鲜切割表面进行扫描所得。岩芯概览报告的生成将使用经过整理裁剪的对应归档半芯图像。 文件命名遵循国际大洋发现计划标准命名规范：航次代码-站位钻孔编号-岩芯号-岩芯类型。示例：文件389-M0109A-06R.pdf对应389航次M0109A钻孔的6R号岩芯（R代表回转取芯法（rotary coring method））的岩芯概览报告。[…]
