Genomic Surveillance of Clostridioides difficile in South Africa

This study aims to conduct genomic surveillance of Clostridioides difficile isolates from South Africa. The goal is to understand the genetic diversity, antibiotic resistance profiles, and epidemiology of this pathogen, which is a significant cause of healthcare-associated infections. By sequencing and analyzing these isolates, we aim to inform public health strategies and improve infection control measures.
